BPSC Mineral Development Officer Selection Procedure 2020

The candidates have to go through Written examination.

Selection will be based on written examination. The duration of written examination will be 1 and half hour.

BPSC Mineral Development Officer Exam Pattern 2020

There will be written examination of total 300 marks. It will be divided in to 3 subjects (i) General knowledge, (ii) Mining and (iii) Geology. Each part will carry 100 marks.

Part-I – General Knowledge

There will be written examination of 100 marks. There will be course of general studies subject to combined preliminary competition examination.

There will be objective type of questions.
The duration of examination will be 1 and half hour.

Part-II – Mining

There will be written examination of 100 marks. It will consists of questions related to Drilling and Blasting (Mec 13101), Mine surveying-I, Introduction to Mining, Mineralogy, Petrology and Stratigraphy, Mine Surveying-II, Geology etc.

There will be subjective type of questions.
The duration of examination will be 1 and half hour.

Part-III – Geology

There will be written examination of 100 marks. It will consists of questions related to Structural geology, Mineralogy & Crystallography, Igneous Petrology, Sedimentology, Metamorphic etc.
